MARCH MEETING

Sunder Ramani has been an active member of the surrounding communities for over twenty-five years. Originally hailing from India, Sunder came to America at the age of seven. Sunder took his first job at the age of eight, and has had various careers running businesses in commercial printing, construction, aviation, real estate, business consulting, and media. After an unsuccessful run for California State Assembly in 2010, he was brought in to head Westwind Media, a post-production media campus in Burbank.

He is an active participant in the regional community landscape. He serves on the boards of Boy Scouts of America, Community Foundation of the Verdugos, Burbank Healthcare Foundation, Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre, and Glendale Adventist Medical Center Foundation.

He is married to a very patient and forgiving wife, Dr. Mandy Ramani, M.D. and is being raised by his daughter Kira (19) and son Collin (16). He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a degree in Accounting/Business Administration.
